AWARDS EVENT

Teams from the participating schools present their bridges, as well as the concept,
design and process followed in the construction of their bridge at a
culminating event at PG&E’s historic auditorium at 245 Market
Street in San Francisco.

A panel of structural engineers, architects, contractors and
artists judge the bridges based on both structural and aesthetic
elements, including the student teams’ written and oral
presentations.

The final event and awards ceremony celebrates the
students’ work and the collaboration between engineers,
teachers and students at the intersection of arts and
engineering. 

Parents, teachers and the community are invited to an
inspiring and fun full day of presentations, awards
ceremony and culminating reception.
